Well... I just could not let some of these out of yesterday's rotation.

Nice simple set up! I've seen the ST Duponte Ligne 2 in a couple posts and got curious. Holy crap! Didn't realize they were so pricey! In your opinion was it worth the $$ and if so why? Not being sarcastic, I'm truly intrigued as I'm a smoker but never considered spending that much on a lighter. I've had several Ronsons, Zippos and other decent refillables but now stick mostly to disposables. I've grown tired of issues with refillable lighters, especially the piezo electric ones not igniting, etc.

Hey brother, simple answer? No. For what this lighter cost, you could seven or eight decent Lotus/Calibri/etc. lighters, all of which will light your cigar just as well. But when you pick this lighter up, and feel its weight, it just feels awesome. Like, first you light your cigar with your Dupont, then it's time to fire the hell out of someone. "YOU!!! STEVENS! GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE, YA FIAHED! EDWARDS! TAKE HIS SPOT!" (grumble grumble, buncha bums...grumble) LOL

That said, lighting a cigar with a Zippo or disposable is not generally recommended due to the poor quality butane which imparts chemical flavors to the stick. A decent quality torch lighter would serve you better, I think. Speaking of torches, I also spent too much on one of those also:

To be fair, a $35 cheapo torch will do everything this lighter can do, but again, I just love the quality. I have had probably dozens of lighters in my cigar career (been smoking cigars for 15 or so years) but these have been the flat out best and most reliable. I've had quite a lot of $100 lighters crap out on me, but this Maxijet has been going strong for over a year, and my Ligne 2 has been lighting cigars roughly every other day for almost three months, and it's my flat out favorite.

I'll ship it back with the ZT! But it's gonna cost ya :D

Ok, I gotta ask: who do those serrations belong to?

Uhhhh....Spydie-Edge Endura I think. I don't have the Buck Vantage (blurry in the foreground) anymore. It went to a good friend of mine, as (and I'm happy to say) his first knife! The guy has bought a few more since then! SPREADING THE SICKNESS, woooo!!!!

Edit:

Confirmed:

I sold mine, seriously.
I disliked it, seriously.
Originally arrived with a faulty Axis lock which I immediately sent to B.M., as soon as I received it back I sold it two years ago.
Was too heavy in hand for me.

Really that's great. I'm sure there's plenty of knives that you have i would consider garbage also.

How bout this version from HHI?... You know those Ohio relatives and other peeps can't resist the lure of the Head. This time they brought along more than the cute nephews! If you are in the Cinci area, try MadTree Brewing. The Sol Drifter is a tasty summer blonde ale.

Gah, Paul, those knives, IT BURNS US, PRECIOUS!

Seriously beautiful pictures.
