EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Hey Quiet, thanks for your feedback, I get it. I guess my challenge is too many gadgets to get and not enough budget to do so right now. That Maxijet is NICE and more my speed I think. Cheers dude!

That said, lighting a cigar with a Zippo or disposable is not generally recommended due to the poor quality butane which imparts chemical flavors to the stick. A decent quality torch lighter would serve you better, I think. Speaking of torches, I also spent too much on one of those also:


To be fair, a $35 cheapo torch will do everything this lighter can do, but again, I just love the quality. I have had probably dozens of lighters in my cigar career (been smoking cigars for 15 or so years) but these have been the flat out best and most reliable. I've had quite a lot of $100 lighters crap out on me, but this Maxijet has been going strong for over a year, and my Ligne 2 has been lighting cigars roughly every other day for almost three months, and it's my flat out favorite.

That looks awesome. I love the reground plain edge :) and the ZT looks great. I've been thinking about picking up my first ZT soon :)
 
Carrying my new Leatherman wave! I've only had it for about 6 hours.
I bought the clip for it and everything. Anyone else have one of these and love it?

My friend got one of these at a Cabelas forever-and-a-half ago, and i thought it was cool. (Pre-Knife-knowledege times)
So, (fast forward 5 years or so) he knew how much I liked it, and I knew how much he liked my Leatherman Wingman.
So, we traded. It has alot of pitting all over the whole knife from rust, and he has used it hard, so theres alot of scratches.
Im pretty happy to see another one! I almost never see these, unless I actively search.
Its a nice knife that feels alot more solid than it looks.
Pretty cool story too! Id find it hard to use it after all of that. It was definitely made to be yours!
Some of the pits can be seen in these pictures. The pictures hide alot of it though. Seeing mine compared to yours, you definitely used it alot! :)

I didnt carry this today though. I carried my Native 5, as usual. Still not bored of it!

Here I thought I was the only one who really liked this knife. I carry mine pretty regularly, and although as you say the pits have formed, the knife itself still cuts like a dream.

The clip is a great idea. Why did it take them so long to come out with the clip?
 
I had the original wave and keep the new version in my EDC pack. I bought the clip and bit set for it and gave my dad my old but barely used original. Awesome tool!

Here's most of the rotation.
Most of the time I'm carrying at least two with 1 light. Maybe 3.

As for me, I switched out to the 0551 today. If I don't carry this after a couple of days, I really start to miss it. Something about that smooooth action.
