Like I said I believe the knife isn't manufactured by Eden. It's most likely a third party Chinese product sold under different names. The SRM 710 you mentioned could well be the same knife.

Yep, it's a re-branded Sanrenmu 710 that you can get for under $10. I have one. Well made, not sure what the steel really is. It says 8cr13mov, but it seems different than other 8cr knives that I have.

good to see one of those knives doing what it's meant to do.
(They look much better beaten than they do clean, IMO...)

All knives look better used and worked than sitting around looking new. That's like riding around with a clean mountain bike.

Totally agree there. Really wish i knew who made these scales, would be having more made for other blades.

That would be a Stedemon DSM that i got to use in a passaround here. Real nice knife for the most part. Would like to own one in the future.

Eden claims it's 8cr14mov. Truth be told I don't carry/use the knife enough to say anything about the quality of it's steel. It took a razor edge rather easy but I haven't got a clue about it's retention. The knife came to me for free as a bonus with my ZT0301.

Today I'm changing it up a bit. Taking out my grandfather's Buck 303 and a Valor Super Sport. The Valor used to belong to my dad. He would let me wear it when we would go hunting when I was a small boy. It always made me feel proud that he would let me carry it.
