Very odd, I just purchased the PVD version of this watch yesterday and I am searching for a CRK Micarta drop point at the moment as well.

Have you ever just observed someone break out into full out laughter...my wifes lookin at me like "what the hells the matter with you"? Funny stuff right the Kevin:D:thumbup:

And then you do it all over again:D

Two funny guys right here...don't worry folks they'll be here all weekend:p

Ba dum tsssss!!!!

Sorry man! Tell your wife you're fine, just having a ball laughing at landwhales!

Spent some good time up the hill last night. Crystal clear skies all evening long. Esee 6 was on my belt.

This Whaler is crazy for a Traditional, but we're talkin a seriously big piece of 1095 Flat Grind Carbon Blade Here:D

It's odd to say the least but in a twisted knife-a-holic way I'm kinda diggin it:thumbup:

That's the best looking burger flipper/knife combo I've seen! I don't think I've seen an in-hand pic of those before. The sunfish/whaler/lumberjack has been on my "if I find $ in the street and want to buy a knife" list for awhile.

Great mail day. Got my Strobe back and also get to test out a Tupper Knife and Tool Slim Jen. I'm pumped!

 I love my JEN, great EDC fixed blade I think.

I am carrying my Tobin Smith today. I'll be off the grid for a few days in Northern MN doing some hiking. Hopefully I have some good knife pics to share when I get back. The hard part will be deciding which ones to take along.

I love the simple elegance of that design, brother.

Also, have a blast out there and be safe on your trip! ;)

Carrying a cheap Kershaw 'flipper' type knife and a knife I purchased from Survival Life. The Kershaw is perfect for I 'usually' use a knife for and the other one is ridiculously heavy but I really like the design of the blade and scales. Both cost me less than $30 combined and I really like them. With that said though, I plan on getting a Spyderco in VG-10 in the near future. I just can't hear enough good things about them. :)

Paul, that Whaler looks ridiculous, and gosh do I want one!! LOL That is just a hilariously cool knife, brother!

BUT he will have a huge smile on his face, and that's all that matters! And hey, ya never know.... Landwhales could attack ANY minute!
I have heard of land sharks but never land whales!

My wife gives me that same look all the time... I mean "all" the time. :)
I think AntDog's short sword and your Whaler would make the perfect EDC pair.
Have a great weekend , y'all!

Long live the new flesh. No mix for cheap vodka so candy cane blueberry dissovling mix all gone. Sick. Texas Chainsaw 2 with Dennis Hopper next.

Great knives you got there! And I absolutely love the original! Haven't seen part 2 in quite a while. Thanks for reminding me to put it on.
