Thanks everyone, the pics were taken in the NE portion of Minnesota, what we call "The Arrowhead". That is Lake Superior in pics 1,2, and 5, while pic 4 is of Rose Lake which is right on the Canadian border (the land in the upper right hand corner is Canada). I highly recommend that area of MN for hiking especially in the fall, it's fantastic and there are hundreds of miles of trails.
