EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Dragonfly sounds like a good choice. Must be the heat during the summer there in FL, because the rest of the year is pretty nice right?

Year round riding is a plus. But it is oppressively hot about half the year, even for road riding with a nice breeze in your face. At lower trail speeds, the heat and humidity can be unpleasant to just plain unbearable.

Where do you ride?

Sorry to derail, but here's an "only in Florida" moment. Makes you glad to have a knife maybe (on-topic)?

My New S21 :)

Carrying the Leatherman Blast. And a piece of steel I found at the scrapyard. Good piece to level up my bevel grinding skills. And as an IT guy you always have a couple of power cords at hand. And since I'm biking to work this was my solution. Holding up pretty well!! :)

Kenda Nevegal? The sidewall is throwing me...

Nice shot! Mtn biking is near and dear to my heart.

Schwalbe Muddy Mary. Yeah it does look kinda like Nevegal, now that you mentioned it. Muddy Marys are my wet weather tires, usually I ride Maxxis Ardents. : )

Sorry for the terrible picture, my phone is awful. I can't wait to be able to upgrade without paying $500+.

Snapped a quick pic with my cell phone before my coworkers could catch me playing with my knives and start making fun of me.

What fixed blade is that? Kyle ...??

Sage 2 today.

It's a Kyle Hanson custom
This picture makes the handles look different but in person they match exactly .

It's Don Hansons son of sunfish forge.
I can't recommend them more. Their work speaks for itself, but I can say the fit, finish, balance, and just overall craftsmanship is just unreal.

Out of all the sebenzas, xm's, and other customs, I get complimented on these the most. I'm sure if you guys could handle them, and see them in person, it would confirm the impressions they give from the pictures. I went on a custom binge, and it stopped with these two. Now if I need a knife made, I know where to go.

By the way, there is one almost like mine for sale in the makers for sale section. I'm not sure if it's still up for grabs , but it's very similar.

Edir: it is available for purchase.
Same handle work (koa) w2 steel with killer hamon, and a Kenny row sheath. Looks fantastic. Little different lines than mine , but they are definitely sisters.
