Got bit by a damn Spyder this morning. Them bastids got sharp fangs.

I put off getting one of these thinking it would feel cheap but it doesn't in the least. Loving the Native. Proabably getting a Native 5 S35v soon also.

That's awesome Forrest, congrats on a great find!

Thanks, brother. It's definitely going to see a lot of use. This won't be a safe queen, that's for sure!

Damn, Forrest! I love it. Such a sweet looking piece.

Now go get yo grail on! :D

Thank you, man! I keep pulling it out of my pocket and flipping it open and closed. It's definitely going to need some break-in, but my Insingo did too, so I can't complain. Definitely loving this knife!

And you know she's right. Any time I talk about not buying knives, I realize that I'm clearly wrestling with demons, confused, need to be talked back from the ledge...

I mean, yeah, my credit card cries into the rape pillow every time I find a new knife, but that's okay.

You have a good point! I suppose I will amend my statement to say "There's nothing else I can think of that I want...right now.

OK, I agree with Alex, let's calm down a bit here shall we---someone in the Sunshine state near Forrest have a thermometer? I'm sure it's the fever talking:D;)

Seriously Brother you have BEAUTIFUL knives and IF you quit today your set for a lifetime:thumbup:

A recent arrival today (sorry for the shaded picture, as it gives it a blue cast to it) an ALOX Orange Harvester---diggin it so far:)

Great pictures being posted above everyone:thumbup:

Thanks for the kind words, Paul! Love that orange!! Alox SAKs are some of my favorites also, even though I've only got two right now. But they do have a way of following me home, so I'm sure I'll probably own more!

Congrats! 'Zaan Tanto is first on my dream list. Really beautiful knife. I like it so much. I hope You enjoy ;)

Thank you, my friend. I've put an Insingo Nyala on my Christmas list, and here's hoping one of my family or the wife snap one up for me. Otherwise...well, I know what I'll be doing in January LOL

It actually looks pretty good with the blood.

Used the BK15 to stir my creamer this morning, because why not? And in case reading in my house somehow turns into a self defense situation...

Nice knife (gotta get a 15/17 soon)and am a true believer in your mug's motto.:D Beer to me is a better eye opener than coffee. Though most work places and law enforcement agencies would disagree.

Trade all those things + cash for my fiancee? Solid lock up, mirror polished, korean manufactured, edc'd for 5 years...only issue is the walk and talk, very loud, never seems to get any better LOL!

I was hoping to pay with mine.
Detent from the factory was too tight, but 3 days later I convinced it to open right up with ease. ;)

Walk and talk! I challenge you to a fiance "annoying off"

In the red corner, blond hair, green eyed devil with a bull horn! Secret move, the brain melter........... Flawless victory! Finish him!

Cluck, Cluck, squawk, squawk, and do you know what she said? Cluck, squawk! Can you believe, buk, buk, bukaaawk!

And with that collection of books, you are prepared for many survival situations, including a debate with a literary theorist :D

(I was surprised to see David Foster Wallace on the same shelf with Lundin and Mears)

Thanks, Ulf. I still use my 16 way more than the 15, but I do like the 15. I'm tempted to send it to someone to make it a thin FFG so it would be a better performer in the kitchen.

I used to work at a liquor store, during college, that had a lot of fine ales. We all liked beer. We opened at 9:00 AM. Beer was typically opened around 9:30. I only made $9.50/hr, but once you factor in all of the liquid perks, most of us were clearing 75k a year. We did appreciate that the company made significant investments into our product knowledge.

Oh and Alex. I don't think that 51 has left my hand since it arrived. It's been in constant motion ever since. :)

You should see my hand. Looks like I stuck it in a blender.

Yeah - the items to the left of the bushcraft/wildnerness books are items that I plan to tackle soon. Unfortunately Mr. Wallace keeps getting put on the back burner because his work requires a sabbatical, amphetamines, surgeon-like concentration, secondary reference materials to deconstruct his linguistic craft...

As for everything else, I have a B.A. in English. Would you like fries with that?

I don't doubt it! Hairless arms, shredded pockets, cut up hands, empty pantry/full knife drawer.... it's a rough life being a knife knut.

I understand. I have an MA in English. But I haven't read Wallace, and he's not on my list for reasons such as that. Mears, on the other hand, would probably be a fun read :)

ZT0801. Its not a knife. It is an instrument of evil, destined to distract me from work (much like bladeforums...). Good thing I'm self employed...

My son's edc.

Belt sander "sharpened" :p
(it makes a trainer blade look sharp)

His edc light is a v11rvn lol. Spoiled? Naahhhhh.
