It's a Big Chris "Wolverine", though Mrs. Big Chris called it "Starry Night".

It definitely looks like Earth from space or Van Gogh. Normally I wouldn't get something so flashy, but it was a bargain, and I have YET to sharpen the M4 after 5 months.
 
I've described the pattern as cosmic myself. I love the blue as well.

I was gambling it being a "non-damascus" backwoods custom lol.

Sounds like I may need some m4 in my collection.

My s35vn is what really has me thinking "when am I going to have to sharpen this stuff!"

Whole day of cutting zip ties, sacrete bags, asphalt bags, and I try to find some hair on my arm, and to my surprise (I find some ;) ) it shaves like it just came off the EP.
 
Decided to clean the edc tray so here is the full group minus fixed blades. Had the grip with me today.

Dollar for dollar, Sage 2 by a large margin. I probably wouldn't have the 940 still if it weren't my first "real knife" purchase. If the 940 was $80-100 it would be closer value wise (I paid 120 in 2009 for mine and now it's more like 150). I still like the knife and I've beat the heck out of it, but I feel there are many better knives for that price point.

Thanks price wise they are pretty close but your deffinetly not the only one to say the 940 is over priced for what it is
 
Just picked up the titanium pocket clips from an awesome forum member and fell in love with my pm2s all over again!

Been carrying this, I forged it this summer...its not finished and have the handle wrapped in paracord until I get some nice large pieces of elk antler to cut into scales.
