EDC IV Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Hey let us know what you think of that one when you can alright? I really want to know how the build quality and the longevity of those stands up to the competition, especially for the price point compared to the other offerings like Kizer and Reate that have been coming lately.

None of them offer tritium though ;)

I missed the chance to get one and have been kicking myself HARD ever since. Oh well, my girl had a nice trip instead of me getting a couple knives, and she's happy, so what can I do? :o ;)

I posted up a review in the Reviews forum here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Duboia-Flipper-review?p=14339129#post14339129

AustonH also has one on the way from me and will be doing a video. So far second day impressions are still fantastic. My next smoothest flipper is probably my Guardian Tactical Helix which cost more than twice as much and it can't hold a candle to this thing in smoothness.

I would say quality is similar to a Taiwanese Spyderco. Good, but not perfect. My Reate and Kizer knives have a little bit better fit and finish but obviously lack on the features.

I'm carrying that new Strobe today, backstopped by my BF Traditional. I've already gotten multiple rude text messages from my CRK's wondering why they were left at home while this Strobe is in my pocket! LOL

Thanks for the info and the review man!

I'll definitely be keepping my eyes out to see if I can't find one of these for sale again soon. Can't really beat the price on them for what you get it seems. I'm interested to see if this manufacturer becomes more prominent in the future and if they bring offerings.

Used the Mini Ritter Grip to open a package... but not just any package....a package containing my first sebenza! I've had an xm-18, an SNG, customs, and countless other knives... not sure why I waited so long to grab a sebbie, perhaps I didn't want to conform? Even with all the knives I've had over the years... I have to say... I "get it".

Tritium is my jam. I'd have tritium on everything if I could afford it. I did manage to score a couple Starlingear lanterns from BladeHQ the other day :D
I can't say no to some beautiful tritium myself.
Just a bit ago, I bought a tain nova Damascus/titanium flashlight with 12 trits in the tail, and two in the e-switch.
Purple and orange.

Wasn't bright enough, so I removed them, and installed green and yellow myself. I can read with the tail of my flashlight if I needed to.
My dqg fairy, tcr10vn, and that skull on my chain has trits as well. Something about them. Just awesome. I've seen guys tritium collection light up their entire shelf if lights.

Well, driving the new vacuum machine for the night crew. Things got some ass too! But damn its cold.

$60,000 for a gocart with a dyson strapped to it.

Your going to be the reason I get my first busse. Max duty is just what the doctor ordered.

I think you will love it! Strong, corrosion resistant, looks great, easy to sharpen and most of all I am not afraid to use the snot out of it! Enjoy. Boney Active Duty is greatness!

I would have to agree! The lines on this one definitely make it a more unique offering from Kershaw. And the blade shape! Yeah brother, I can already tell it's going to have the utility of an 0770. As for pictures...well...ask and you shall receive, good friend :D

Love it John ! Freefall is another Kershaw with outstanding ergonomics, there is something in those inexpensive knifes that is very contagious... :D

Here is my local pawn shop save for today - $19 Kershaw 1304 BW that have the blackwash removed from the previous owner... It turned in to a shiny "barbeque" knife,
but I'm such a sucker for tantos that in the moment I saw it, I had to have it... :D
It's going to be a project knife I guess, blade is still with the factory edge, perfectly centered, very strong detent, but decent action.
This is the second ~ $20 knife I got from this place, first-one was nice, almost never used BM 551, blue scales, excellent shape,
I have to check this place more often.

That Sebenza is gorgeous! I've been thinking about getting my first as well, either in CF or Micarta. How do you like it? Also, how smooth is it?
