Such a great knives and pictures on the last pages !
I did carry today my Mcusta tactility and my regular Rat1 because I was busy... Don't have time for pictures, but I have to brag about my new fixed blade:
A forum fixed blade from Bulgaria, Manly made, forum design, cpm 154, slight hollow grind, G10 I believe is the handle material, #13 out of 115
First impression - outstanding knife, love it. Now I have to think about a sheath so I can carry this thing... :D

Just replaced the default clip on my ZT0620CF with a Titanium clip I bought on Ebay for $18.00.
I had to leave off 1 middle screw but it's a tight fit with just the 2 screws.
Yes, blade was re-profiled, no more tanto.

Beautiful knife you've got there. I'm usualy not one for synthetic handles on fixed blades, but that thing is just stunning. What's the blade, 4.5"?

I'm measuring exactly 5" :D
The interesting thing is that design is done by forum members, the goal was general purpose outdoor knife ( hate the "bushcraft" term... ). There are few knife makers there, few are hunters, few other guys, it's a collaboration between all of them with taking under account forum opinions when we discussed the design.
Handle material was picked if I remember right just to be practical and to withstand little bit better than wood the field elements, heat, moisture and so on.
You can take the scales off and replace those with whatever you like, but I love some synthetic materials and will leave it the way it is. I'm glad you like it, it's outstanding slicer... :D

My pioneer is accompanying me during some late night algebra.

Oh and in case you were wondering the possible dimensions of the entire area are 95' by 150' and 300' by 47.5'.

I think...

I carried a BM 51 for a few months last year. It was pretty fun, no argument here dude!

The clip is well designed and well positioned. It angles the knife properly in the pocket, if you know what I mean.

Its a tricky knife. Because the blade is so big, you expect it to be huge. Then you realize that its LESS than five inches closed and a half inch thick. It surprised me for sure.

If you can find one I would highly recommend it. Its big and visceral but man is it a fantastic blade.

Blade geometry is dialed in as well. Mine can cleanly slice phone book paper and I haven't touched the edge yet.

Let me know if you want to know anything specific. I agree that there isn't a ton of info out there on them.

Yeah man thanks for the info!
I have had a few issues with pocket clips and how some of them ride in the pocket before, so I definitely understand that. My shiro, and my Diskin Fire, do it the best, because the clip sits just right so the knife stays verticals and doesn't get caught at a weird angle in the pocket.

I'll probably send you a PM sometime tomorrow to bother you some more about it, once I've thought of more questions ;)
And I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled if one ever comes up :D
