It's the weirdest thing. It got a little "wobbly" a few months ago, so I take the whole thing apart figuring that if I clean and lube it the play might disappear. Well not exactly. I got it all put back together to find that the play was still there, AND now it had developed quite the lock stick along with the blade being off center like crazy. I probably took it down and put it back together 5+ times at best eliminating one problem, but the other 2 would be worst than ever. So I through it down in disgust. Here recently I noticed a screw was missing, so I got that ordered. That sort of sparked me to give it one more try at fixing it. Well what do you know? I don't know what I did different, but besides the very slight lock stick it is back in tip top shape. This is the knife that has made me a little gun shy when it comes to taking down a knife. In the past I wouldn't have given it a second thought.
And they all lived happily ever after.

Okay there's my disassembling nightmare/ spyderco story.
 
Lol I can understand that. I had a couple hinderers that were just temperamental on reassembly. It would either be off center, or tight as hell.
But a crk, I've never had a problem. They've always been my most dependable knife for anything. Whether it be using, it servicing.

I wonder what's going on with yours.

Nonononono! I just remembered I had put up the wrong pic. I changed it all most imediately. I figured no one saw that. No I'm talking about my pm2. Good god no.*Play in a sebenza, now that is blasphemy!

The camber has been in my rotation for a long time . That's an accomplishment . My PM2 , Delica , Mini Grip are collecting dust . I even bought a 0770 to get this one out of my pocket but it hasn't even been carried .

Carrying the mighty delica agian today



Man I had a scary moment when I got this thing wicked sharp then needed to clean some polishing compound off the edge. This is a problem I'm sure we can all relate to paper towel doesn't provide much protection from a polished edge
