My towels are getting ragged from after sharpening in the kitchen doing test cuts on them.

Want a good tuna spread recipe try this.

Tuna
Mircle Whip
ONions
Romano Cheeze
Green Olives
Tomato
and shake some seasoned salt and pepper on the mixture on toast.

Pretty much just put whatever I had laying around together and it's really good. Healthy too.

I'm getting it, but it has slowed down a bit because work picked up and my last semester started.
I'll get there though. I've become much more fluid, and at this point I'm just trying to nail it down to muscle memory.

Since I stupidly broke the tip of my beloved Benchmade Grip I was in search of a new knife to edc and i had been lusting over a ZT 0301 i pulled the trigger and bought one of the market place and i just got it in yesterday. This thing is a f*cking tank I love the overbuilt goodness and heftiness it has. This thing will ride my pocket till I die. I have been bitten by the KAI bug haha. EG

A W2 blade I made as a tester. and a good ol' Higonokami
One of these days I will get around to cleaning the grind up on that W2 tanto.

I really like the spanto looking blade on those.

How's she flip?
I love this one. After doing some work on it she's flips so smoothly. The only thing is the handles take a little getting used to. They don't twirl as easy as something like a 51. But for pretty basic flipping it does much better than I expected.

You might have tightened your grip too much on the knife and got the meat of your finger against the edge of the blade.

The blade on the sebenza comes insanel close to the spine of the handle when closed so look in there and see if you can touch the edge with your finger.

On my 25 I have to watch it sometimes when gripping the knife closed, but it doesn't really become an issue most of the time. It's the only downside to how slim the knife is overall. That blade has to hide somewhere ;)

EDIT: sorry, misread what you said originally and posted a redundent first answer. Fixed it now.
This is exactly correct. I've cut myself twice in exactly the same spot. Both times fondling the knife while in deep thought and accidentally gripping on it too tight. The closed blade edge is very close to the edge of the handle scales.

I've gone back and forth on a sebenza. I have some pretty nice knives, but no folders quite at that price. Ive always had a hard time justifying the price and assumed they were a bit of a cult following type knife that everyone wanted just because they read how everyone else had one. This really turns me off though. That's a pretty awful design flaw on a $400 knife.

That is the 2011 BF Traditional forum knife (#85 pattern) and is very hard to find. You can stay on the Traditionals Exchange and try to snag one (at an extravagant price, likely) or look for a similar knife called a "Crown Cap Lifter" or "Radio knife" (#15 pattern) in various configurations. Both knives are made by Great Eastern Cutlery in 1095 carbon steel and are of an extremely high quality.

You weren't joking. Hard to find any traditional slip joint with a bottle opener and single blade. Any other suggestions? Don't see anything GEC or Case available.
