LOL I didn't ignore it, I didn't just want to embarrass you on the eve of your success!!! I'm wearing a watch whose screen is 100% backlit, I would totally own you on a lume challenge. LOL I was trying to be polite, but here you are having to call a guy out!!!

I DO still owe you a pic of my Tag, so ok, you got me there.

P.S. I hate you and your Omega very, very badly. Just so we're clear.

:p:thumbup: Backlights don't count ya Newbin McNoobin' Boob! Since you want to play games, check your phone for the REAL lume shot I kept saved to smoke you with when you responded! Hahahaha!

*Disclaimer: Zeta and I are good friends who are razzing each other. Also, I am not actually comparing my plastic-bodied wearable tech fad item to his masterpiece of civilized craftsmanship. Again, two friends razzing each other.

I'm dying over here man, lmao! The EDC thread, and BF as a whole, brings so many people passionate about the simple hobby of carrying and using a knife together, it's amazing. Over months and years people end up becoming very close friends, through this place. We've got an awesome group here.

Also that Southard had me like...

I'm really happy with it, I think they are seriously overlooked. The price is a little high, in my opinion, and it's smaller than I thought it would be, but it feels solid. Locks up like crazy, super smooth all around. I was surprised that it used a ceramic detent.

Wow yeah I wouldn't have called a ceramic detent on that one at all. It seems like Boker is at least trying to step up their game, but we'll have to see how that holds up.
When I saw the specs on the knife at under 3.5in blade I was a little surprised as well. I would've thought it was larger from the pictures you've shown here. Very interesting knife for sure. A little too much for a test-drive for me (considering my exerience with Boker), but it seems like it's working for you, which is all that really matters :D

I've been carrying this Guardian Tactical Helix for a few weeks now and am really loving this knife. It originally came with a DLC coated blade, but I decided I didn't like the coating so I sent back to GT to have it stripped and stonewashed. Since I've gotten it back, it's been my regular EDC so far.

Daaaamn Accelerator, that's a nice looking blade

Thanks! It has one of the nicest carbon fiber weave patterns that I've ever seen. Indoor photos don't begin to do it justice. It's a pretty big knife, 4" blade, 3.75" cutting edge with an overall length of 9". It pivots on ball bearings so it will close on the weight of the blade itself after it's been unlocked and moved past the detent. Overall it is a pretty amazing knife!

Took a couple pals with me out to the country...

It was cold, so we got back home to warm up with a brew and some guitar...

Sounds awesome! I didn't realize it was such a large folder.

I'll definitely have to look into them...after I file my refund, of course :D

That Scagel Fruitport is sweet Brett! (BTW, my thumb is healing nicely after playing with that Daghetta all day Saturday. ;))

Thanks Erik! Glad I snagged one while they were still around. Mine's got a lot more patina on her now than when the photo was taken, but she's still mighty purdy to me... :) (PS: If your poor thumb survives the Daghetta, it's gonna be sick tough--lol)

You ain't kidding. Very nice! Gonna be on the lookout for something from Guardian Tactical.

My plain janes. You dudes are a bad influence with these midtechs and customs. My willpower for not constantly wanting to upgrade my blades is low.

I see you got a new scale on the 0562. What material is that? How do you like it? Nice Strat by the way.
