I see you got a new scale on the 0562. What material is that? How do you like it? Nice Strat by the way.

Looks like carbon fibre but with no weave. Just the fibres randomly laid into the resign. Its gorgeous!!! I meant to ask the other day where you had those scales made?

It's a material called "shred carbon fiber". This particular sheet had silver dust infused into it.
It's beauty is unparalleled, it has to be seen to really appreciate it. This scale was made by BellaBlades, a member here on the forum. He does great work, he's a great guy to work with too.

It's small "shreds" of carbon fiber and silver set into a resin matrix. There's some with copper or gold too, and others with colored resin like red and blue. You can actually shine light through it in certain spots! Pretty rare stuff. Not sure, but I think only one place makes it (the same guys who make C-tek).

I love it! As far as grip goes, its no different that standard CF imo. It's no slicker that the Ti side of my 0562.

Yeah those are the best looking scales I've ever seen. Thanks for the info, and keep on strumming. (sitting here with my 1962 Les Paul Junior)

INOX Marttiini for the snowy outdoors today:

It's super-lightweight, but very capable - hard to beat for $30.
