There were some conversations recently about William Henry knives, so I thought I'd carry my B7-FT today in tribute to a superb manufacturer. (Borrowed pic.):

The UPS driver dropped this one off at my door this morning. Pretty nice little knife.

I'd say that my Mini Grip sees more carry time than any other knife that I own. A number of which are significantly more expensive and "desirable". Love that little blade.

Finally had a chance to snap a picture!
Snow started coming down very fast, soot of my clients for today ended up cancelling. Today went from very busy to very slow in like 39 mins...

Really can't put this Diskin down :D
Love the green screws more evey day I see them too. Kept thinking about having something done to this knife but I don't think I could really think of what I actually want for it...hmmmmm

Looks neat, Brett! Lord knows I'm a sucker for wharnies. How are the ergos?

Ergos are pretty good, but if I'm not up on the choil, my pinky is at the back of the handle beneath the lanyard hole which kinda feels like it's off the knife. I should also mention that although this knife is as thin as a Delica, it's a lot wider...

Still, for around $100, it's a cool knife. They did a fantastic job on the blade grinds. This would be a good one to get pimped!

What's the knife behind the balisong?

What's the knife behind the balisong?

That's my new Diskin Flipper. Custom knife by Matt Diskin, maker of the Fire model that people know him for more.
M390 blade, Ti framelock with steel insert for the lock and a very nice 4" blade. Lighter than seems possible, but still a very sturdy knife. Broad blade that comes from nice thicker stock to a keen slicing edge as well.
Here's a better shot int he closed postition:

Diskin Volcan flipper? Correct me if I'm wrong Charr ;).
@Charr I'll read the thing you sent me later today.

Close ;)
This is so far just described as the Diskin Flipper. It is made by Matt, and is marked "Diskin USA" on the blade, which is the name of Matt's company that he uses toproduce knives.

One thing I love btw is that you have to look for the marking on the blade because it's not over-done, and the only other makring is on the inside of the spine of the knife, and designates the steel as M390. Otehrwise a sterile knife, which in my opinion is the way to go

No problem I know it was pretty long again haha :D

Arizonacustomknives describes it as the Diskin Volcan flipper that's why I said that :)

Ah I see, that makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the full name of it. I just haven't heard an official name for the knife before personally. Joe Parenee had a thread about them a while back, and you can still find it pretty easily by searching "Diskin Flipper". He's got some much better pictures, including some that were of his own model that has some special features...Joe gets all of the cool knives :p :D
