Traditional kinda day...

...As soon as I held it in hand, I knew I had to own one. I will say that this knife makes a really good EDC choice for a few different reasons. For one, it's slim and light. Thanks to the mount point of the clip, it's effectively a deep carry set-up. The knife came from Erik razor sharp, and the edge geometry is beautiful. The almost-Spyderhole was a familiar friend, as I've owned Spydercos for years and years. The fit and finish of the knife is superb, and the quince-wood scales are gorgeously done...
I cannot agree more, only I prefer thumb stud instead of a spyder-hole... Very capable knife, regardless if you carry it as a gent's folder or something else.

Today, and much of the time lately, my Marfione Custom Mini Matrix with micarta Scales. Very thin and light, and does the duty. Nice piece.

I have to say that it's the nicest knife I've had in hand in a long time. Erik, in a staggering show of friendship, sent me this knife to try out. As soon as I held it in hand, I knew I had to own one. The fit and finish of the knife is superb, and the quince-wood scales are gorgeously done. Honestly, I've had non-knife-guy coworkers both notice and remark (positively) on this knife when I have deployed it to slice an apple or cut open a box of paper.

I was so taken with it that Erik has since sold it to me, and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a gentleman's folder that's a little on the larger side (the knife is 8 1/4 inches in total length, with nearly 4 inches of that being the blade). Sorry, I'm a tad gushy on this knife, it was better in pretty much every way than I thought it would be.

Very cool, Thanks. I was most concerned with blade play, because that is by far my biggest pet peeve.

Esee Zancudo.

My suspicion was right, frame-locks are stupid. Lol, I like it aside from that.
