For some time, the Daghetta has interested me. I love Lionsteel, I love D2. How is the action on it? Lock operation?

The action is very stiff, although it is slowing getting better. It looks like it's an axis lock but it works much more like a lock back. It has a very strong spring. However, due to the strong spring it locks up like a vault. More than any knife I own this one feels like it could punch a hole through a car door without the lock giving way. The fit and finish is very good as expected from Lionsteel. I would say it is a much beefier version of the BM 530 Pardue.

Thanks for the info on the Dagetta's lock, I found a good schematics online and it was very interesting, I only cannot figure it out if the little cylinder for itself is locking the blade or it's pushing another metal piece in front of it...
I guess I have to buy the knife to figure it out...
