First post!!! Been using the Manix 2 s110v Lw for the past week, it's an awesome knife, great ergonomics, easy carry yet substantial in your hands. Action isn't as smooth as benchmade tho. S110v is a bitch to reprofile with just ceramic stones, need to get myself diamonds, and is surprisingly brittle and had it chip twice already which is why I had to reprofile it, but the edge retention is out of this world. Great knife

It will get smoother. It's a knife you have to break in. Both lock and blade opening will get better. Great knife, I find the lock design superior to the axis lock.
