So today I picked up this bad boy. It's a bit of a Grail for me so I'm really excited about it. The infamous Benchmade 610 Ruckus.

Thanks! It's new to me this week, and I'm liking it so far. Reminds me of a slimmed down GB, so it's all good in my book. The Super Blue gets stupid sharp, too.

Both from eBay. Not sure what you mean by "rugged"? Is it sturdy? Yes. Is the finish is smooth? Yes.

Seeing as today is kind of a unique day (not really), the second Friday the 13th this year, I decided to pull out something special that I never carry. The knife that lead me to the knives I carry today. My favorite Benchmade knife of all time.

The BM 705-02. I've had several different 705s in the past. Sold them all, all but this one.

Hey LWM - it is an AG Russell Cataraugus Trapper, a knife I don't carry nearly enough. The main blade locks, and is unlocked by pressing the smaller blade inward.
