Hi, a newbie to the myriad of Spyderco models so sorry if this is a dumb question .... what is this one please?
I'm more of a Traditional sort of guy not overly turned on by some of the Spyderco knives but that one is real nice.

Not a problem at all my friend! As they say, the only "stupid" question is the one that never gets asked Anyhow, this is a Slysz Bowie - a recent release from Spyderco. I really like it a lot - in fact, it's darn near replaced my other production folders.
