The box says "#470114 Lava Acrylic"... I'm not familiar John if "kirinite" is a different material or just another word for this type of plastic...
It's so pretty on a daylight, pictures cannot do much of a justice...
I carried today three knifes...
The new Tactility, this little guy and another Kershaw RJ Martin that I convexed the bevel just to try my KO belt attachment...

Lol yeah. That picture was taken about 20 seconds after the cut.
Instantly started gushing out of my thumb.
This isn't to uncommon in my house haha.
The tachyon is the worst. It's sooooo pointy, and it's stupidly sharp.
You get it the worst when you mess up and try to catch it.

Wow! Get better soon! I luckily haven't cut myself in a long time. I'm also someone who sharpens every single defect out of my knives, so I guess I'm lucky.
It's ironic, because every since you started posting that knife, i thought it looked really pointy and..... Well.... Sharp.

These two today. The Acuto steel on this Ripple is pretty impressive. It's no 10V but it is a nice steel for sure.
