I haven't been using traditionals for a while but I really like that what model GEC is that if I may ask ?

It should be Great Eastern Northfield UN-X-LD # 470114 Viper, Lava Acrylic, got it from Frank's Classic Knives, from eBay, very happy with the knife and the whole purchasing experience.

ZT 0770. Been opening up packages and wrapping gifts for my son. Even after cutting stuff the Elmax stays pretty. It's at 15 DPS and holds up great

Put a fresh new edge on my edc last night and back into the pocket she went. Of all the steels I have, no blade takes as wild an edge as Devin Thomas ss damascus. Smooth to the touch like glass, little bit of pressure and then it bites. Aside from a stropping here and there, the edge lasted 3 months of moderate to "heavy" cutting before needing a real hone. Constantly impressed by this blade.

New lanyard ties together the personal touches well too, I think...
