Excellent choices today guys. EY FORREST. Whats up with the radio silence! Too cool for ole brown bear? LOL!

Im loaded out today, for fun. Going camping tomorrow. Been too long since I've been, at least 2 months. Can't wait to be outside breathing in the crisp North GA air.

You're lucky man! Show some pictures when you come back :)
Camping in Georgia woods...sounds great!
I wish you 'll be happy man ;)

I picked up this mini Svord Peasant last night from a local Environeers shop...
I liked the color, this is what made me buy it... :D Compression folders are not really my cup of tea,
unless they look like being dropped off in our reality by some time traveler...
After I repaired the un-even, raw sharpened bevel, I used it all day long for cutting food and small things, managed not to cut myself.

I carried it today, along with my Mcusta Tactility and my FrankenRat... Back to basics, I guess, nothing wrong with it...

Just got my first ever Sebenza 21! It's a left handed small version. Liking it so far! Do they have to break in? (Smoothness and lock).

All sebenza are pretty tight and have strong detent.
I'd bank on your thumb breaking in before the knife lol.
You'll get used to it, and you'll love it.

Someone is going to ask, so it might as well be me... How on earth did you cut your tongue with a knife? Hopefully you were slicing off large chunks of knackwurst, and using the knife as a fork??? ;)
I had a steak for dinner and licked the remaining blood off of the blade. Bad mistake. I guess that's how people are taught manners the hard way. Luckily no one saw it. 😊

Sebenza again. Lately its only competition is the military for when I want something bigger. However, 12 more days until I can open up the reate hills. Its killing me every time I walk by the box. Its just sitting there like "oh yeah, you want some of this? You know you want to check me out and make sure I dont have any defects. C'mon. Just one peak won't hurt."
Ok I might have gotten a little carried away.
And Larsje100, its a combination of learning the proper thumb motion to open it, and the blade itself will break in. I still remember the day when I disenguaged the lock and the blade fell freely. This was after about 2 weeks of opening it non stop. It was at that moment that I knew it had broken in, and I finaly got why everyone praised this knife for its smooth action.

I really want to like the Manix 2 but its so stiff, but I did find an old gem of mine.
For a budget Crkt, its a really nice liner lock; great detent, smooth action (blade falls once the lock is disengaged), reminds me how much I love a good liner lock.
If only it was a smidgen longer, it be even better.

Just got back from pre-Christmas un-loading.... Kicking out in front of the store while my wife is wasting time and money inside... :D
Taking pictures of your knife seems like a good idea, till I'm waiting, if only the by passers didn't look at me like I'm a maniac of some sort.
Who cares, it's a nice knife after all...
