As EDC's I carry a Victorinox Craftsmen, and an Opinel No. 10, and when hiking/camping I also wear my Fallkniven A1 on my belt.

Hahahaha! I do that all the time:D
From the pic, it looks like you're working on a strip mall?

If I'm carrying materials into the job, sometimes I'll use my knife as a door stop.

Haha I was thinking of this exact picture when I snapped my door stop.

Close, it was an office building. The condensate drain was plugged on the boiler, had to pop out the back door to grab a nitrogen cylinder to give it a blast.

Minus 30°C with the wind chill, I'll happily use my shirogorov as a door stop so I don't have to walk to the front door. Haha

It's extremely rare that I deal with a boiler but darn, I was kinda close:D

That door hardware looks like a mortise lock, so there should be a couple buttons below the lock cylinder that you can switch between locked/opened so you can get inside quicker. PM me if this doesn't make sense, I can PM you additional pics:)

I will keep that in mind, I was in go mode and had an easy solution. It's really annoying how most of the places I work are locked up like fort Knox. Tracing lines and getting access to multiple floors can be a pain.
