EDC knives get a home for bedtime

Nightstand now has my edc belt carry folders snug as a bug in a rug

And kicked the few socks our son hadn't nabbed yet, out of our dresser, and into the boy's dresser...hahahaha
That made almost enough room for the fixed blades

One thing is abundantly clear to me now..... I need way more edc and users Buck Knives, and more drawers to put them in

501's or Alpha Dorados?

I suspect it is the 501's.... but one of those is actually what might be called a "985 FrankenSquire"
A 501 handle rescaled in gaboon ebony with added fingergrooves, and rebladed with a 484 black coated 12C27M blade

Oh, I love those little buggers, I have an S30V, 154CM and a 420HC.
All three are super sharp and great on the belt or in the pocket!

A 500 and 112 blade swap perhaps?

I did mine with a pin punch and hammer, to remove the pivot pin and blade.
And new pivot pin round stock and a ball peen hammer to install the new blade.

And of course sandpaper, steel wool and a buffing wheel/compound, to make her pretty afterwards

Any of you guys collect Opinels? I got a box set of 10 knives from #2 -#13. It comes in a rather decent box with a lift out tray. Make a nice little box for other knives if you fab up another tray, other than it says Opinel on the front. Kinda curious on where I can buy empty boxes from
