Well the DEK is basically a weaponized bigger EDC though right?!?!

To be honest, I’ve never even been to Wyoming. That said, when I do visit those amazing folks someday, they can put me to work in the kitchen, the wood pile, or the back 40. All I ask is that yoko saves me a spot to sleep in the shop !

I'm not sure where to post this question. I don't want to clog up Nathan question thread as some of ya'll might know. Why doesn't CPK make wood scale options that much? I'm sure there is a reason.

They are usually available in the pre-orders, I have wood scales for the previous EDC2, DEK’s, FK3 (they made wood scales for FK2 also), UF2, Kephart, and also the K20.1 and Kukri orders that are still being made. Nate doesn’t like wood scales as a main offering much because they’re not as durable and resistant to the elements as micarta or G10. When wood is available it’s most likely going to be some hard ass stuff, that’s why ironwood* and Osage* are most common thus far.


*Also known as: Popsicle sticks, outhouse floorboards, vampire shank 2nds, etc.
