EDC to complement my Glock 29

The 92C is just a work horse, now when I want to keep my pimp hand strong I'll toss on the pinky ring, my jordan 5's and grab old Bernadean. But seriously look at a benchmade tumult otf. Black , square, D2,goes good with a glock. I have abused mine for 4 years on the job.

I would second the SOG Flash 2. I have it with a plain tanto blade with the TiNi finish. It is one of the prettiest knives I own

The "recoil aversion" isn't new. None of the world's elite fighting groups use 10mm, and it has been that way for a very long time, with good reasons.

As far as the blade goes... Something overbuilt with black G-10 would seem fitting. My choice would be the ZT 0550, though the Spyderco Military seems like an easy fit.

The OP said he wants quality. Although I like the Sog Flash IIs I have and they did get me into knives, I would not describe them as quality. For quality I would want much better materials like a better steel and G-10 handles.

Glock's are very good hunting guns. A lot of National Park Rangers are carry the Glock 20

Glock does classify the Glock 20 as "a hunting gun." However, they classify the model 29 as "a backup gun for hunting."
The model 20 has a long barrel and a long sight radius, thereby making longer shots (in hunting) more probable with ethical accuracy.
The model 29 has a short barrel and a short sight radius. It is okay for a BACKUP...meaning very short range where, for instance, a wounded bear is nearly on top of you, and accuracy is not much of an issue. However, hunting accuracy at range beyond 25 yards is improbable. You do NOT hunt with it.
You cannot mount the longer slide of the model 20 on the model 29 frame. If you do manage to put in a 6" 3rd party barrel, you have done nothing to increase the sight radius, so your accuracy at longer range is not going to happen. See pic.
You would be well advised to purchase this manual... See pic.

When you're talking about trying to stop an aggressive bear weighing multiple hundreds of pounds, shot placement is a *critical* issue. They pack a lot of non vital tissue around their important parts. Shooting one with a handgun is a very, very desperate act.

I highly recommend a Benchmade 275 Adamas. It's the folder knife equivalent of the 10 mm round. It's not only tactical and very strong, but it's very effective for bushcraft. That being said, I would recommend a Busse/Busse kin blade. Look up a Ratmandu CG from Swamp Rat Knives. It'll handle any basic bushcraft task, animal skinning, personal defense, and EDC chore. It's an award winning knife and it has a cult following.

If you pair the Glock 29 and Ratmandu CG together you'll be almost all set. I then recommend adding either of the following for complete coverage (Scrapivore CG in Orange finish, Victorinox Hercules, or Ontario Rat 1). The scrapivore cg is a neck knife that has an RC hardness if 60-62 and the butt of it has a prying mechanism. This knife would be great for skinning small/medium sized game and it also would serve well for very detailed bushcrafting tasks. The Victorinox Hercules provides you with a slim sleek 4 inch blade, but it comes with all the other valuable tools that a Swiss Army Multi Tool provides. The Ontario Rat 1 is affordable and efficient. It's the folder equivalent of a Mora Knife in my opinion. You could always go with a Morakaniv Robust (I own 3). They're affordable, readily available, and very effective. Hope this helps!

I carry a FFG orange Endura 4 with my G19. Great cutter and light weight, plus orange and black go together :D

Me too. 810 or DPx Hest would also be good. BK24 for a small fixed or Bussekin. For woods knife any Becker or Bussekin. The best folder for outdoors use would be a Benchmade 275 period. My favorite folder.
