How do you like the Fallkniven Sam? I was curious about that model.

Got some new EDC items:

CRK Sebenza 21 Insingo
Victorinox Alox Cadet
Maratac Rev 2 Flashlight

Here's a great story about the flashlight. I posted a pic last week of my knives/wallet and said "I need to get a light." paulhilborn pm'd me and GAVE me the light. I'm very thankful for such a generous gift!

I have been on the receiving end of Paul's generosity as well, they don't make'em any better than him. Kudos Paul!

Serrated Friday! ....wait...what? :D

Kevin, I love the little lanyard dude. He looks like he's all tied up in knots though.

Not the prettiest plastic covers but underneath? True Fallkniven build quality, superb liner lock, steel, blade profile. Comfortable and versatile handle.

Some nice touches with the liner lock. The back of the blade tang has a channel milled out for the stop pin to fit in (something I've only seen on my Laconico) and, although the lock bar is substantial the face of the tang has been carefully milled so that only the lower portion makes contact. I guess the original P folder was the same but it all adds up to a very nice liner lock.

My plan is to use as a work knife and fashion some nice, contoured wooden covers in the near future.... :D

First with the PITS and now this...... dang, you're killin me. Seriously, that is one good looking knife, I love it! Walter

Haha thanks! Don't die, though. There're too many pointy reasons to live. :D

It's back in the pocket today. Sorry for the recycled pic. Traveling today.

I stumbled on to a killer deal on this knife yesterday, and picked it up this morning.

A Pat Crawford Custom Falcon. Full titanium liners/liner lock, titanium back spacer and clip, maroon micarta scales, and a 3.8" 154cm recurve drop point blade running on pb washers.

The fit and finish is perfect. No gaps or flaws anywhere. You can't even feel the seams between the back spacer and the liners, or the liners and the scales. Blade centering is perfect, and the action is smooth as butter, lockup is early and solid, and there is no lock stick at all.

The guy that sold it to me said he's had it about 10 or 12 years, and it was basically a safe queen. He carried it a couple of times, and it has a minor scratch on the back spacer, and a minor scratch on the clip. He gave me a great deal I couldn't refuse.

This is my first handmade custom, and I'm stoked!:D:):cool:

Here it is with a large Sebenza 21, and a full size Griptillian for size comparison.

Awesome carry Brother!

I'm loving this new light! I might get a custom leather belt holster for it, since I can't find a good spot for it in my pockets. Been carrying it in my back pocket along side my wallet.

I met a local girl that does custom leather/kydex work, she actually has one of my Dunlap's right now, so depending on how her work turns out, I might have her make me one for this new light. She's kinda cute too:):D
