Erik, BEAUTIFUL knife buddy, I'm familiar with the knife but not that handle...sooooooo, I assume a rehandle? If so, very nicely done, maroon linen?

Thank you Paul! I had Steve Sketchen make the scales. You are correct, they are maroon linen micarta. I love the knife, very underrated(perhaps unknown) offering from Benchmade.

Just this one for me today

Liquor & Guns! Only in Texas! Hopefully they will be opening a second shop called "Liquor & Knives".

Checking in again from Puerto Rico - Put the Dragonfly salt to work on some coconuts we found on shore. Easily slices open the green ones for a drink, and did a decent job cutting away the husk of a dried one to get to the hard center. I did break it open with a rock. I was not sure if H1 would win that battle. Look mom, organic!

Really enjoying your pics from PR Jeff, keep them coming man!

Nice!

Todays carry for me is the Moki Fish Owl.

Received this today, but the tip extends ever so slightly too far and I jabbed my finger. I'll be sending it back, but since I took the photo, I'm posting.

It is. I liked the overall design, as well as the swedge on the blade, but also hoped the grain would have a little more character. I'll be getting something else from KSF soon to replace it, I'm sure.

Nice one Erik!!!

I'm back home from vacation, reunited with my newest knife.

And here is a pic from BLADE weekend with Forrest aka Quiet

upload_-1.jpg

Both holding Chris Reeve Knives, shrouded in cigar smoke, with a couple of glasses of scotch off camera. Miss ya already, big guy!

Dude, it was a great time. Blade was so chaotic, I wish we'd gotten to spend more time. Remember my offer though, whenever you come down to O-Town, brother.

"Quiet" is a great guy! I wish I could enjoy a cigar with him.

Ditto, brother.

You guys are both better looking when you're shrouded in cigar smoke. :p Sounds like you two had a good time!

The place we were at was quite...interesting, you could say. We stood out like sore thumbs. LOL

Me too, and Harris as well, plus a LOT of others on here!

Same here, man. Then we could compare Vape flavors as well!

Lol dayum, Erik! That almost made me spit out my pizza!

Harris and Forrest, you guys are the new BladeForums power couple. Y'all need one of those celebrity nicknames, like Queta or Horrest!

John, we ain't frens no more. LOL

So, this weekend was a pretty good one for steel. Saturday was naturally Spearpoint Saturday:

Yesterday and today, it's been this combo:

The Fenix E12 has become my new pocket light, displacing my Maratac 3 some days because of its extra modes and a tad brighter light, with a wider flood. Pretty neat little light.

His and hers.

Gah, I still love that Summer Lavender. At Blade, I sent Harris to the SwissBianco table where they had barely anything left, and that was FRIDAY. They apparently sold a lot of their Bladeshow stock online, so by the time I got their table, they only had one SL knife left, a Camper (IIRC) with a fileworked main blade. I had to pass.

They are very nice lookin! I steal it as often as I can for a little photo shoot.

I think swissbianco.ca still has some. You'd need to pay a bit extra for shipping from the Toronto area. But I couldn't see it costing more than about $12 to get it anywhere in the US.

I'll have to keep it in mind, my knife funds are depleted given the haul I brought home from Blade. It was a fantastic time all told.
