Gotcaha.;) didn't recognize the Diskin. I don't think you've posted it for a while. You've been rocking those Thorburn's. Still loving the Dunlap I see. The patina on that brass looks awesome.

I love the Fire, I just hate the deep-carry clip. That's partially why I don't carry it often, it's still a knife I'd never get rid of though; it took me a while to find one. That patina on the light has been changing everyday since I received it. I'm really digging the look of brass. It reminds me of a vintage nautical instrument:D

I was thinking something similar.

I also love The look of brass. I have found when I carried a brass zippo, that the patina will constantly change as you carry and handle it.

Man you reminded me I need to carry my Diskin sometime soon!

Right now I'm rocking a new tri-grip Ultratech though so it's all good ;)
People can call me tacti-cool all they want, this thing is super slim and very fun to use! Had to drop the pocket clip though. The grip texture is WAY too aggressive on the handles for a pocket clip to be reasonable, and the knife carries so well inside the pocket anyway.



Oh, and btw Blues Bender, got in touch with Jim Dunlap! Got an order in with him for a back-pocket trapper with the bolsters like yours, but I asked him to not do a shield on it, so that the gorgeous marble carbon fiber will be the absolute centerpiece of the whole knife.
Extremely excited for this one brother! :D

That is gonna be freaking sweet, I can't wait to see that thing!!! I'm glad to know that Jim is getting the attention he deserves:)

Me too my friend! He was great to talk to, and I am so incredibly excited for this!
Don't know how long it'll be yet, but at this point I'm more than willing to wait for this ;)
I'll just drool over yours until I get it in :D
