Been carrying the Protech BR-1 since I got it a couple of weeks ago. I'll probably rotate it with the ZT 0450 once I get a deep carry pocket clip for the ZT.

I would prefer that it had a steel insert on the lockbar, but I can't say that the absence of one has ever given me a problem on any titanium framelock,

To each his own but I honestly believe steel lockbar inserts only exist to please collectors. They actually weaken a knife structurally. Same with very early lock up on framelocks. They serve no other purpose than aesthetics. 100% lock up with a slight stick is the way to go if your going to use your knife. I'm extremely pleased Spyderco went with both for the K2. It's a real user blade.

Here's an intersting hard use/lockbar insert video if you want to see what I mean:

skip to 34:00 and pay attention to the insert sitting loose on the lockbar, skip to 37:00 to see the result of early lock up:

here's what a full ti lockbar with near 100% lock up does instead:

So many great carries and pics from this past weekend!

Yesterday I carried the Lawman again and today it's back to the Spyderco PITS. Had to take advantage of our flowering crab apple tree for a pic today.

Erik is that a 2015 Lawman or a pre-2015 model? If it is a 2015 would love to know how you removed the DLC. Please and thank you :).

For me today.

It's "normal" D25C

Awesome, the D25C is an amazing light:thumbup: Very durable:)

If you're into lights like I am, try out a Nichia 219 LED if you ever get the chance. The light tint is very close to natural sunlight on a Nichia.

I've never seen a Nichia 129

Just the basics today while I lounge around the house and help my fiancée study for finals now that mine are done.

Even though it's not my favorite or the prettiest or even the most capable, I've been constantly reaching for the little green sng. It's a great EDC for my hands.
