The mums are in full bloom this rainy afternoon. They get to hold my latest South African beauty - Burger Atlas. This is some fine work, such a smooth flipper. Perfect size for my hand, just an outstanding design. I'm really digging South African knives lately, the guild does a great job.

I ain't too worried. None of the important keys are showing.

Yup. I appreciate the head's up, but if somebody wants my base model '00 Dodge Neon, they can have it! I'll have a jolly time watching some carjack trying to drive a manual transmission! :D

A Key You Can Photograph Is A Key That Can Be Copied.

Yup, he's right.
I can tell what the cuts of a key are just by looking at it.
Locked out of your car with the keys just sitting in the seat?
I can look at the key, guess the cuts, cut the exact same key and open the door.
House keys too.
Been doing that for over 25 years now.

However, if you have enough experience, as a locksmith, to guess what a keys cuts are just by sight.
Then you don't need a key to open that door. ;)

If you can't trust your locksmith, who can you trust?

Not a good idea to show your keys in any photos, unless you blurr out the edges which is what I do.

Do you know how stupid someone would have to be to want to copy CMs keys for nefarious purposes?

And even those of us who post pictures like this:

Or, if you want to steal CMs stuff, you clearly have not researched your target and are likely an idiot that is about to regret your pour decision making

Haven't posted here in like a month so I figured it was well past time ;)

Been carrying this little monster ever since I got it to try and break it in!

Anthony Griffin Small Lanny's Clip in S110V! Was one that Anthony originally made for himself too, and has an extremely cool and unique acid wash and etching!

But today I'm carrying BigBlue, though he needed a little touching up after breaking down some boxes earlier today ;)

Nice and sharp now after some improvised sharpening :D

True dat!
Thanks, but no thanks.
I think I'll keep my job/career and my life.
I haven't been a locksmith for 30 years now by being dishonest.
I am true to a fault, it's much easier then the alternative.

Great picture and a fantastic knife Greg! I had not see that model before, thank you for sharing.

Love all the texture in your photo Jed.

New fixed blade carry from JoshRG.
First time using AEB-L steel but I've heard nothing but good things!

Ok, so I only carried the 24hr new 940 today, but the other 2 showed up at the door from the exchange and just pushed their way into the picture. The tremor is a beast!!!

LOL, the only reason I haven't strung my home with trip wire nasty is the cats.
