EDC VI Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Ok, so I only carried the 24hr new 940 today, but the other 2 showed up at the door from the exchange and just pushed their way into the picture. The tremor is a beast!!!

That Tremor is a beast! Crazy how much bigger it is than the thermite. I own both BTW. Good knife days for you!

Haven't posted here in like a month so I figured it was well past time ;)

Been carrying this little monster ever since I got it to try and break it in!

Anthony Griffin Small Lanny's Clip in S110V! Was one that Anthony originally made for himself too, and has an extremely cool and unique acid wash and etching!

But today I'm carrying BigBlue, though he needed a little touching up after breaking down some boxes earlier today ;)

Nice and sharp now after some improvised sharpening :D

I usually don't get excited for flippers or for framelocks, but that griffin has got to be on of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen:thumbup:

Are you inferring that a "photo" of a firearm is supposed to intimidate someone?

I personally know two people that had their keys copied from photos, both posted their "stuff" which included their keys on EDC forums, Instagram and Tumblr, (where people often post their keys).
Both had their keys copied and both were robbed, one was a knife maker.
The key copier was far from "stupid", in fact was obviously very techno savvy.
Some people obviously will remain naive re: key copying technology done from photos, others will be smart enough to blur their key edges if posting.
Google is your friend if anyone want's to know more on the stated subject.

Do you know how stupid someone would have to be to want to copy CMs keys for nefarious purposes?

And even those of us who post pictures like this:

I don't usually get excited at all for knives that are less than 3.5"ish, but this one is the exception for me as well!

If you have it, check him out on Instagram, because he does sales on there probably a little over once a month. That's where I grabbed this tiny beast.

Heck yeah, it giantnormous! It's so big I had to create a new word just for it!... There's a good "that's what she said" joke there [emoji2]

Today was definitely a good knife day.

Yes. If it doesn't then the thief is stupid and likely to get shot. YMMV.

Seems like "the people you know" shouldn't post their personal stuff on every thing known to the interwebs. Also, they weren't CM, and they sure don't seem like they were prepared to deal with the consequences of posting their stuff everywhere. To each their own....

My VA PTSD therapist has got me to learning to embrace my disorder. I made a sort of a PTSD gratitude list and first on that is that anyone who tries to get into my home is a dead man... and since I'm home 95% of the day, the probability is extremely high.

The first thing I think of when I enter a new environment is who I can kill first and with what... and that's on autopilot.

Like I said, "the people he knows" aren't CM.

With regards to posting keys:

I did that very recently. But made sure to use the editor option on Photobucket to completely blackout the teeth and make it difficult to judge even the length of the keys. Looks weird, but sadly something that needs to be done.

Chamberlona,
It's not that CM is claiming to be bad by posting a photo of a gun or knuves.
I, too, am 100% disabled, a large part of that is ptsd. The clinical part of this is we live with almost a continued adrenal dump in our system and so we're always on edge, and we also live with being hyper-vigelant, so it's not by choice or even desired, as it is VERY hard on family life, or even going to the store. Thats why I have a dog, to keep me in check. If I think there is someone out side, but the dog is cool, it keeps me from storming outside. But if I think I hear something and the dog is on point...lock and load time.
I do understand however the point you wher making with key security, so point taken on photo backgrounds and thanks.

Mitch

Good explanation, bro. I agree with everything you said.

Why not just post pictures of your keys instead of bluring them? Doubt anyone really wants to see your keys anyways.
