Hmm, I'm waiting for my single blade Ivory bone to land.... Although the spear isn't my favourite blade type this one looks nearly as versatile at the tip as a clip with its narrow profile and similar belly to the clip. I also think the spear balances the knife nicely, echoing the shape of the handle. Nothing wrong with the clip but I don't think it's as pretty as the clip on the TC Barlow with its longer pull. Purely anaesthetics thing:)



Then there's the steel frame.... Hmm, like I say the jury's out with me too, think I'm gonna like it though:D

I do like you micarta, coping combo too, missed that one:(

Spear isn't my favorite blade shape either, but it's the only one that was missing. I have all the other #77 Barlow blade shapes.

Aesthetically I couldn't tell you which one I like better...I think they all look great, reason why I have one of each.

Just wish my African Blackwood ones were either bone or micarta.

Not really a fan of the cooler weather. But I like that I can carry bigger knives again.

The Carothers Field Knife arrived today, and I put her to work immediately. Making an 8 foot long bar for my balcony, out of wood from a 100+ year old barn from the county where my parents grew up.

Add me to the clip fan group. However, the spear was well executed, so I don't mind it.
This flew solo today.
This iPhone has really upped my photography. The pics are so much clearer than my old generic phone.
