I wasn't happy with the slicing capabilities of the stock edge so I took it down to 18° per side and worked it up to 6k.
It slices much better now.

I carry the new American Lawman with XHP steel almost everyday. Really like it and with my Japanese Chosera stones I get it really sharp. The downside is you get a lot of lint and other crap around and on the lock area which produces crunching sounds at times but that's the way it is. You don't have that with a fixed. ^^
It has as you all know a really solid lock. At first I couldn't even close the knife with my thumb only but after playing around with it a few days it's now smooth as butter and a lot easier to close. I guess it was the rocker that had to wear in. If you have any problems closing your CS knives, I recommend you play with them e.g. opening and closing them. That will fix every problem with a stiff lock.

They did fit perfect man... This guy did outstanding job, I'm very happy. They look great in your hand, great contrast, perfect traction.
I'm waiting for the ZT blade to come back, otherwise I'd post also the 620 with the new Emerson skull scale, it's here too and fits as a glove on that frame...

Sure thing. It is a Tom Krein Alpha. I will have to look the specs up again, but it is a superb size with stellar ergonomics.

That's a good looking one forsure. I've been searching for a good old barlow for a long while at the gun shows and garage sales with no luck so far. It's hard finding something with the character but is still useable

Thanks! Actually the one was close to not useable. I made new bolsters and scales for it and cleaned it up.
