Good looking 110 there Erik! Did you go with the S30V or 420HC? Are the covers oak?

Thanks, Its actually the 5160 special edition that a guy funded, and yes, it is oak. He's not a dealer here, but if you search buck 110 in 5160 you will find it on the big auction sight. They are VERY reasonably priced, and I've wanted a carbon steel 110 for a while.
There is actually a thread or two on it in the Buck subforum.

Carried the "washed" lionsteel today, but got the 531 in the mail and it was too excited to miss out on the photo shoot. Props to my man Biglou (forum member, not mobster name [emoji2]) for the killer blade deal!

Looking good! From CA to TN. Yes the owner before me meticulously took it apart and Rit dyed it.

Very cool. I've contemplated doing mine in red or green, but decided against it. Definitely unique though, no doubt.

Just discovered this Zaanto came from CRK with a polished blade, first I can remember seeing. I had assumed that was part of Chris Martin's "murder" job.

Still rocking the Lawman

It's holding up great at the warehouse job.

Good to see a post form you Johnnie boy! Don't work yourself to death my friend.

how is the fit and finish on this?

Good, perfectly acceptable for a knife at its price point. The spring is flush when the blade is opened, the lockup is solid with no play in any direction, and it came razor sharp. It's a good value for sure.

Thought I would go all out today. Do I have enough lanyards, guys? :D

The very tip of the Spartan sliced my finger upon closing after this picture was taken. One of those quick, clean cuts that don't hurt much...yet. Don't think I'll need stitches for it, but man, do not underestimate this knife!
