Finally some normalcy in my life!
Nothing bad going on but I've been pretty busy lately.
Getting a new phone going, starting my hot-rod engine for the first time, getting my rifle ready for hunting season, getting caught up with hpusework, etc etc etc

It feels good to have some time watching Street Outlaws and fondling my Native 5. :)
First post with my new phone.
Let's see how the pic looks.

Pic looks good. Now you need to take a pic of your knife with the aforementioned hunting rifle.

Here's the rifle. Sorry the knife isn't with it. The lighting in my house isn't picture-friendly so I dug out an older picture.
Savage model 111 .300 Win-Mag with a Leupold Rifleman.
I hunt in hayfields so long range is a must.
I hit a Monster can today at 250 yards shooting flat.

Splitting kindling. Trying a new method where I chop into the wood then whack the knife and wood against the floor while making torquing twists with my wrist.

The Spydie just watched

That Lum-Tec is indeed very nice! I don't know the price of the Lum-Tec, but Laco makes pretty affordable "pilot" style watches too. I've been wearing mine to work for close to 6 months and it's held up very well; mud, rain, dust, hammering, sawzall vibrations, you name it! It keeps on tickin'! I think mine was just under $300, however, the strap was extra (under $20 IIRC).

I'll be looking into that brand. The lum tecs I was looking at seemed to run around 5, so the price of the Laco looks better. That is definitely the style I'm after. But my first order of business is getting my first decent pair of boots. That's one rabbit hole I've just started to spiral down. I keep going back and forth over some Red Wings.

Yesterday... SR2A as always and 77 Barlow Spear Point in red sawcut.

Today... swapped out the Barlow for the Northwoods Michigan Oiled Camel Bone.
