Does that model number mean it is a grip with an M4 blade? I didn't realize they had done a run of those. Do you know if they're still available anywhere? Thanks

The Ritter Griptilians are available with M390 blades. Knifeworks (a BF vendor) has them.

Thanks, Quiet. I was aware of the KW Ritter Grips I'm just trying to figure out that model# he quoted. KW lists the Ritter grips model numbers as 552-1401 and 552-1402, I'm just trying to figure out if his is made in M4 based on the model number he listed. I've been trying really hard to find a Benchmade in M4 that I like and so that's what got me so interested, but thank you very much for your help as well.

The large M4 Ritter Grips came out in 2010.
The large M4 gold class Grips also came out in 2010 (possibly late 2009).
Occasionally a gold class will come up on an auction site but they usually are priced quite high.

Thank you a ton. Exactly what i was wanting to know.

Just factory minus the overlays. I had lost a screw from this one when I had Sketchen Scales redress it, and Kershaw wasn't responsive to my request for a replacement, so I bought another because they are so cheap and swapped the custom scales to that one because it had a nicer blade and lockup. When I was left with this, I really liked how it looked without the scales on it, so I popped a clip back on and now I carry it occasionally. It's a bit lighter than the other one I have, and carries quite a bit thinner.

25th wedding anniversary dinner with my wonderful wife; seared duck breast, Gevrey-Chambertin 2008 and one of my very favorite knives
