^^^ @Acadian You Just Drooled. I peed my pants a little bit :p . WOW beautiful Rockstead & Great pic. Carring my Shamwari & Northwoods today:

I use the Kershaw Ken Onion Blur Folding Knife. Perhaps I should give a brief description of my favorite knife… It has a DLC coating-handle that is made of anodized aluminum. Its overall length is about 7.9 inches and is light at 3.9 oz.
This folding knife comes with a removable pocket clip and features a Speed Safe opening design with a torsion bar. This design allows for smooth opening of the knife with just a manual push on the Index-Open system. The torsion bar keeps the knife close, thus preventing it from any accidental opening. Kershaw Ken Onion Blur Folding knife is made of steel making it resistant to corrosion and Strong.

I'll be looking into that brand. The lum tecs I was looking at seemed to run around 5, so the price of the Laco looks better. That is definitely the style I'm after. But my first order of business is getting my first decent pair of boots. That's one rabbit hole I've just started to spiral down. I keep going back and forth over some Red Wings.

SadSappySucker...try Chippewa. I have Red Wings, Carolinas, Timberland Pros and nothing comes close to Chippewa. Red Wings are close, but not as good. I work two jobs Monday thru Saturday, 16 hours a day. So I definitely know my boots. And they have lots of models that are made in the USA...

The TSF Gorgon has a 4 inch blade.

Yeah, I was aware of it, but I love the style of the beast and wish they'd just scale it up.

To stay on topic, I'm gonna carry this Cold Steel small kukri machete I just modified into a mean parang/kopis style blade:
