I started carrying a Buck Stockman Model 301 every day in 1971 when I started working for the local electric utility company. After a time I decided it was too large so I started carrying a Buck Cadet Model 303. I have had a Buck Cadet in my pocket almost everyday since about 1975. I tried a couple of different knives over the years but always went back to the Buck because it was just the right size for my pocket and for my work. In 2007 I had just bought a new Cadet and forgot to take it out of my pocket as I was flying to Mexico City so that one was confiscated. When I got back a week later I bought a new Cadet and that's the one I am carrying now. Today I unboxed a Benchmade Mini Griptilian and that will be my new weekend/off work carry until I retire at the end of next year. By then the Mini Griptilian may become my EDC if I don't find something I like better.
