In my opinion, the 940-1 is one of best knives ever designed. It's light, compact, has a fantastic blade steel and is visually appealing. It carries like a dream, and the blade length can handle most jobs for an EDC knife. One of my all time favorites!

Exactly as you said ! I was amazed when i first took it in the hand. really love this knife

I was getting ready for work today, and playing with my Sebenza. I realized it was pretty gritty and needed a cleaning. Well I didn't have time to clean it, so it got left at home. This is the first day in about 4 months I haven't carried it.
I hope I can function tonight. :(

I vaguely remember you saying you're in the ATX area? Bull Creek?

I'm probably crazy :)

Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara 2: Blade Magazine's 2015 Best Buy of the Year. 3.75" 8Cr13MoV blade with modified Spydie hole, FRN scales with Byrd Brain traction nibs, phosphor bronze pivot washers, spine and choil jimping and skeletonized nested liners - for around $20 shipped. Awesome.

Carrying the Spider Monkey, SAK Cadet, and AAA Maratac. The SAK bit me hard yesterday, completely my fault as I was doing something I should not have been doing with a non-locking blade. :grumpy:
