EDC VI Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thanks :) It's the new BK13cp in 1095cv. The other BK13 model that is available is 440a stainless. Its an extremely handy 2 and 1/4 inch blade. Its just over 5 inches in total length and weighs in at about 0.10lbs. They sharpen up like a scalpel!

I have both model versions and like how this one is developing a bit of patina and colour to it. :thumbup:

While walking around today I found one of these for $20... so it followed me home :D

I finally got one of these and now I'm wondering why I didn't get one sooner! Great knife with fit and finish I wouldn't have believed possible from CRKT. Perfectly centered and no blade play of any kind. Very slim and feels great in the hand. The clip is machined not a stamped piece. It's work of art for a 60 dollar knife. Complaints? It's not a lightweight, which doesn't bother me but may some. The machined clip is very stiff and has a little bit of a gap between the clip and the frame. It fits perfect in my levi's but may be a bit lose on dress pants. Overall it is an incredible value for 60.00

Thanks, Dan! I'm really digging these. The sheaths are interesting... The orange one came with a natural/tan leather sheath, which had an extremely tight belt loop - I almost couldn't get a belt through it. It took quite a bit of working-in (I got it on a heavy belt, and then just slid it back and forth to help loosen it up, then I wore it EDC for a week).

The black/green one came with a dyed black leather sheath. Surprisingly, it required significantly less breaking in (my experience in the past has been the opposite - that the dyed black sheaths required more break in than non-dyed sheaths). Either way, though, I really like the horizontal carry in many situations and activities.


Today, I grabbed the Featherweight - sooo light, it's a joy to carry. I actually forget I even have it on sometimes!:

Just trying to talk myself into one here ...
And then you go bust out that awesome Featherweight Fox hunter which is exactly the other fixed blade I want. Hahaha.

If you had to chose between the two for daily carry .... Which ? I know the answer is "you'll end up with both anyways" :rolleyes:


Sunday carry here with the SBJ in cv.
