I only called it "expensive" because without BT's logo and design I would only pay half of it.
I see you live in FL, I'm in Sarasota, on the West Coast, if you want me to I'll send you the BT-70 to fiddle with it for as long as you want, just shoot me an e-mail with an address, I should have it in my profile, and I'll send it to you, I absolutely have no problem with this. Also, keep in mind that I waited for five months before they shipped it to me, I don't know when they'll have another batch coming.
The Fox Terzuola I believe is a must for every knife enthusiast... The more I use it, the more I love it.
I also love the Starmate design. This and the Gail Bradley's first model CF Spyderco will be shipped to me, regardless of the retailer, by the end of the month, according to the very secret plan of mine...
I'll buy those two before I buy anything else.
I kind of envy you for being able to meet with BT... Didn't ever go to Blade, I went to numerous SHOTs in LV and met bunch of people from the Industry, Joe Pardue, Louis Krudo, Emmerson, Brent Beshara, Burnley, Tighe, Phill Willson and Mr. Schempp to throw few namesbut I would absolutely love to see Mr Terzuola...
I don't know what's the connection between the Buck you are showing me and this Mantis:
(my picture from last years SHOT, I didn't go this year)

Believe or not, I find this design very useful for my every day tasks and the only thing that was stopping me from buying one was the "Mantis" brand, I left their isle with mixed feelings...
I was not aware that Buck have the same design ( at least very similar), so now I'll look for one for sure... Especially if this Buck is chisel grind
Didn't have time to shoot any other pictures but I had BT-70, Fox Terzuola and CS Voyager with me today

It a Malyshev Gnome clone or more a "tribute". The blueprints were stolen but the original custom was never made. It was an impulse buy. I placed a bid on eBay and won(I never did before). It's Ti and D2 steel. Flips very good, 50% lockup and came wicked sharp. Pretty good for $40.What is that knife on the bottom? It looks like zt 0900, a direware, and a Hinderer had a baby![]()
