Thanks! they are Allen Putman Micarta scales...

I have several sprint PM2 and I still think M390 is my favorite steel.

For what I do and for how sharp I like my knives to be - I love it.

I'd run it stock if it's working good for you and has nice action . I think deassisting is over rated depending on what knife your doing it to .
The odds of the assist failing is very very slim .

Yeah, the action is fine so I'll probably just run it the way it is until the action slows down (if ever). The resistance when closing it can just be annoying sometimes.
