Boring as hell sunday. Took some scales off my 11 and put them on the 24. Think it adds some sytle with the steel showing on the bottom.

I think kitty likes the new scales:D The exposed steel makes for an interesting look!

Thanks Brother! The festival was awesome. Big beers, beautiful women, and lots of drinking songs:very_drunk: There was a German blacksmith there, and he let me give a try on the anvil! I have a lot of respect for the guys that forge knives, since making a simple spike took a long time!

This old man gave me a lot of advice about blacksmith work. He had some amazing stories to tell and I talked to him for a couple hours! What a humbling experience it was:)

Anybody that's near Milwaukee should go to German Fest, I'd highly recomend it! It was constant fun with many humble people willing to share stories and experiences. I'm definately going next year!

Soon Friar, very soon I will have one that's as pretty as yours (it should be here Monday/Tuesday!!!). Turns out he had just made a couple like it when I inquired a week or so ago. My sheath will be slightly different though, pics to come in a couple days.

Today I used the affordable Thermite to dig and cut around while doing some much needed yard work. May have been misuse, but it's mine so I do what I want [emoji2]

I carried this Rocky to German Fest in Milwaukee today! I came home with this beautiful stein, and I don't think I'll be using it, it's just too beautiful to risk breaking!

Awesome!👍 Looks like a good time for sure. Yeah blacksmithing has never looked like easy work too me. I havent had roasted pig like that for years. Craving beer and swine now. Whiskey might have too do. Have left over porketta in the fridge.

I wish I was near Milwaukee... I bet you had awesome time BB ! My aunt lives very close to Frankfurt in Germany, I remember long time ago we would go to the local pub around 5 and will shoot Licher with "pomfrits" :D
Some of the local guys actually had a shelf in the bar where the bartender would keep their steins... They don't really clean them, the bartender was just rinsing them and puts them on the shelf when they're done for the night. I was shocked when I saw it for first time... They actually shoot shots with Jagermeister and then chase it with the beer, neat way to get hammered if you're not used to it... :D

Hell yeah, man! It hasn't left my pocket since I got it. It seriously is a quality budget knife. The blade came sharp and centered, lockup is solid yet the blade swings freely when I disengage the lock, and the jimping is much cleaner than I've seen on other models :)

Today I've got this pair.

 
Yup. Exactly. When working with wood, vines and saplings it is essential to me quick and reliable acces to my serrated blade.
