EDC VI Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

How are you liking it so far, Greg?
I was really considering one of these, even though they aren't what I normally look for in a knife, because they were so clean and compact. I usually like larger blades with locks, but for some reason this one seems to kind of "sing" to me a little.

Wanted to know what you think.

You guys let me know what you think once you get yours too please!
Can never have too many opinions when thinking about knives ;)

So far I really like it. It handles a bit larger than its measurements, if that makes sense - at least the drop point does. Very clean and good quality craftsmanship from what I can tell. Mine opens smoothly, but I tried another hat seemed a bit tighter, so you may need to adjust the pivot a bit to your comfort.

The spring seems pretty strong, but not overly so, so the extra length on the tang functioning as sort of a friction point is welcome. Overall, at least at this point, I really like it a lot. Beautiful knife above all else.

Me too:) Went for the DAN 2 in CF. Not as pretty perhaps but I though the blade would suit my EDC needs a bit more.

I'm also getting the exact same one...CF Dan 2 - much prefer that blade shape (personal preference of course)

Will do!

I like it so far. Kind of different deployment, but gorgeous knife. I picked mine up when I stopped by BHQ this morning, and I already have a bandaid on my thumb. My fault, not the knife's.

sounds promising. Can't wait to play with it.

Thanks for the feedback man!
Sounds like I might have to add one to my list when I get the chance. I honestly like the idea o it feel it bigger than its measuents since I am used to a much larger blade in general, so that is a good point of appeal. Might be a good secondary or dress carry in the future ;)

I was wondering about the tension on it so thanks for that as well! I always seem to like very specific amounts of tension on slip-joints an friction folders, so we will have to see...wish I had a good knife shop around here that I could check stuff like this out at, but alas, no such luck :(

This bad boy today. Finally found one on eBay and snagged it for an amazing low price (didn't have a box but was practically brand new).

Man...wish I could find one of those! Nice score.

Some people force a patina....
Trying to force snail trails...
So slowwww...

I have that exact journal!

Same here, lol!

I have that one in Black as well ;)
Used to have the brown one filled with notes and all kinds of stuff from drawings to story ideas for writing, but someone stole it when I was in my junior year of high school, and it was never returned. I was really sad that it was taken from me, especially since I had probably spent hundreds of hours working on it by that time, between the drawings and the notes I had in it.

Whoever took it is forever a scumbag in my books, and they better hope that I never find out it was them...even though it has been several years since then and I doubt that would ever happen anyway...

Either way, great little books ;)

Thanks for the feedback Greg. Looking forward to mine now!:)

I've BM 913 since 2008. It's very classic design IMO, but it could be manual like older tanto Stryker.
