I went through a time when I liked the indestructible over built knives. still got the bk2, (hasn't seen the light of day in years). last Wednesday or so, was bidding out a job and the home owner had what looked like a Ontario ranger thing? and no lying it was a thirty-second +/- of 5/8 big (useless looking thing in my opinion) monstrosity, any ways your blade reminded me of it so I had to ask.

Yep, know exactly what you're talking about:

Scroll down to the third post (by Twinstick).

And yes, I wanted one. Pricey for a knife that is waay to large for EDC. I don't like to collect for the sake of collecting, and 2.75"-3.5" blade length is my sweet spot.

We have very similar tastes, that was the best looking one out of his most recent group! Nice snag, I love orange on knives.

Thanks man! I like orange scales if there's some dark highlights on the blade. Black/Orange is a great color combo - the satin bevel finishes it off nicely.

Pretty sure that's just dirt from use. Makes the knife better looking when it's used well (in my opinion [emoji2])

Maybe , but that looks odd and forced..

Those sum bishes cost a m'ruggin fortoon.. no way would I let bum grade patina form on that. Unicorn blood maybe.. but not potato juice.

That's what I was thinking, looks so uniform. But hey for that price it should be able to work as hard as it's owner and longer,I say get it dirty...but clean and strop it when you're done ;)
