Well we have seen the "What's in your pockets" thread for years (literally, it's a long thread :o). I searched with all my might and couldn't find a "what did your knife do today?" type of thread. So here it is :)

Put up your EDC knife/knives and tell us what you and your knife/knives did today.

I'll start:

Last night at work I was able to use my BM 111SH2O to cut open a few boxes for customers who wanted to make sure everything was intact. Cleaned a few finger nails, and cut my sammich in half for my afternoon snack :D I'm pretty sure I used it more than that, but it's what I could remember at the moment

My EDC knife yesterday and today:

Hehe, used my PXL for similar stuff yesterday. cleaned and trimmed a few fingernails and cut up some cardboard.

Sometimes it gets used for some dirty stuff, not really suited for a knife, but hey, if it can't hack it...........

No photo, but I used the small blade on my SAK to slide between the contacts of a broken body cord.

cut the box tops off some cereal boxes for my youngest daughter with a Buck 422

Cold Steel ("pimped into drop point" :)) GI Tanto cut up old gutter pieces. She's pretty tuff for less than 20.00$.

Well my Spyderco Delica hung out on the desk all morning while I answered emails, made a few calls and worked on some advertising/marketing for my website.

oh and of course was with me while I hang out in BF! :)

Rode along on a rescue call for chest pain, opened a box and watched a movie and some tv on the couch.

Sorry. Only counts if you used the knife to open the chest.:D

Bought a new gas weed trimmer today. Used my stockman to open packaging and trim some plastic that still had a ridge on it.

Made lunch with it. Cut open a parcel. Cut some para cord...
Guess that is about it. Its weekend so the knife deserves rest to :D

the weekend is when my knives see some action ;)
have to admit though, I only wittled a littlebit on my pause where I took the second picture.

My endura dug some soil around a mango tree looking for root rot and cut off the rotten part. Had to sharpen it though soil is really hard on edges.

Hi J's Knives-N-More -

Today I had to cut down a large elm tree in my back yard, so I carried my JK Kephart on my Wasteland Leatherwork belt.

I used it to cut a couple of sticks, and later my granddaughters came over and I made them both a "sharp stick" and we "practiced" throwing our sticks at corn husks laying around on the ground as I was burning the elm.

Here is a pic of the Kephart -

Just before coming in here to the desk top pooter I retrieved my Rough Rider Copperhead to open another fan for the LT pooter. I don't think this thing is ever going to dull enough to go to the stone!
