EDC - What did your knife do today???

Case Mini muskrat clipped a cigar, opened three envelopes, and lifted the felt cover on my zippo and the tip of the fuel bottle. All with in five minutes. No wonder its RED little guy is fast.

Cut up several large cardboard boxes that some stainless steel shelves came in, also cut through several very thick plastic zip ties that were used to keep parts in the boxes together.

I cut a ponytail holder out of the tangled hair of my daughter's babydoll with my Spycerco Stretch ZDP-189.

My girlfriends sisters car broke down and I had to bring a gallon of gas over for her. Turns out the nozzle was too large for her pesky bmw's channel to the gas tank, so my kershaw skyline saved the day cutting down a plastic bottle and making a funnel to fill her tank.

Today I hacked away at about 50 black berry plants and took them out. Here in the northwest they're a real problem and if left unmanaged will take your whole property over. I finished off the last of them today. Some of the stalks on these plants get to be about an inch an a half thick and were quite the job for my ZT 350 and Bradley Alias 1. I know I should have used clippers or a machete but I was just having some fun. On the bigger ones I used my new Tom Brown Tracker and it worked very well.

benchmade tanto grip and mini grip: trimmed nails, opened a box, entertained me by flipping open and shut

case texas jack: cut paper into scrap paper for notes and gave to a customer to pick out a splinter in her thumb

and just basically keeping me company :)

I cut the small tape for the price tag off some new dollar store reading glasses with my blemished JYDII SG2/Ti, rather than wash some old ones. The leftover glue goo had to be washed off the new glasses, anyway. Then, I had to clean the goop off my knife. %^#@*&!

SG2 may be sharp, but glue goo still sticks to it! Maybe the blister packed 3/$9 readers are a better deal than the dollar ones?

Used my wave modded CS Black Talon to remove bottle caps. I unintentionally cut the wave just right to be top popper. Gotta love that old school Coca Cola, the stuff with real sugar.

Yesterday, I helped my father move a fridge. It was too wide, so we removed the storm door and I ended up using my Sm Seb to pry the metal hinges from the door casing. Not a big deal but the casing was metal as well, so I was mindful not to damage the tip.

Cut steak, boxes, paper, tape, zip-ties, fingernails. Good thing this post wasn't a couple weeks ago, the Opinel got my forearm good enough for nine stitches that day, it was funny though, at work we tied the gauze onto the arm, at the ER i had to use the Opinel to cut the gauze for them to remove it.
