"EDC": What does that mean to you?

I'll help you out......that's what it means to EVERYBODY........except possibly you.

Nobody in the knife world ever took EDC to mean the same knife every day.
I carried the same knife every day for over a dozen years. A Camillus-made Buck 303 that I carried from the late 70's into the early 90's.

So maybe you can take your response down a notch.

Indeed. Well, what you said is pretty much what I took away from the thread . . .so we're still good right?
Guess I was focuaed on Every-Day and not on Day-Carry.

To me, EDC is an action verb, not a noun. I do have a select few that get most of my time, but, I digress.
Interesting . . .Please explain.

In the context of this forum, I am reading that folks are using the phrase to describe one (or more it turns out ) of their knives thereby naming it as a favorite. . . .As in, "This is my every-day-carry knife." I can't figure out how to diagram a sentence using that phrase as an action verb. How can the entire phrase. every-day-carry, be used in in any other way than as a modifier of the word "knife" .

How do you use this phrase as an action verb?
